What is the Ringwood PBA?

The Policemen’s Benevolent Association (also known as the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association) or PBA for short, is a labor unions representing police officers.

The Ringwood PBA Local #247 is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the representation of the sworn, full-time, law enforcement officers of the Ringwood NJ Police Department. Ringwood`s PBA has a long history with the state organization.

Ringwood Local 247 is a non-profit PBA group of Ringwood police officers. Currently there are 20 members in our local. Financial support from the residents of Ringwood enables us to continue to support local charities, events and scholarships, in addition to expanding our community involvement. Proceeds from the fund drive will also be used for the good and welfare of the PBA and its members as well as for the general and administrative expenses of the association. As Ringwood Police Officers, we are dedicated and honored to work for the residents of our town professionally and respectfully. We attempt to reach out to all ages and groups within Ringwood in order that, the resident and taxpayer, may get to know us beyond our uniforms.
